Re: Woman Found Guilty of Hit and Run After Running Over Two Kids in Leaf Pile
No, I still think shes going t jail to pay for his pain and suffering. It might have turned out better if she turned herself in though. Everybodys right here. It was just another tragedy. I wouldn't want to die like that. I can remember a long time ago when I was so small, I heard about a little boy who built a fort in the snow bank and got killed by the plow. Same shit different day. Different only cuz the guy was doing his job, but, You don't let your kids play in the street. I wouldn't even to let her play hockey. And we liv in a trailer park

How is that "paying" for his pain and suffering? It's taking responsibility for your actions. But for the fact that she had her brother wipe the blood off - that just went a bit too far.

She's not paying for the father allowing his girls to play in a pile of leaves in the road, justice is being served because she broke the law. There is a huge difference. Also, she should feel some major guilt here. If she doesn't, I hope she screws up in prison and ends up being incarcerated even longer. |

Re: Woman Found Guilty of Hit and Run After Running Over Two Kids in Leaf Pile
I think it shows who she truly is by NOT going back to the scene of the accident once her brother arrived home. I also think it says a lot about who she is by the way she took steps to conceal the crime, after she knew what she had done. I truly believe that had she gone to the police a few hours after what had happened and told them she was frightened beyond belief over having learned what she did...she wouldn't have been prosecuted, despite leaving the scene and waiting many hours to come forward. It's the fact that she found out what she had actually done and then decided to try to cover up her involvement. Imagine if the neighbor hadn't noticed her car, do you think she would have ever turned herself in? |
