Re: Woman Arrested Over Unreturned DVD

My house was robbed and I had a rented DVD in the player when it was stolen. It was "A Clockwork Orange". I reported to video store and never heard another thing. The sad thing is a friend saw my stolen electronics at someone's house and the police said there was nothing they could do as they didn't have enough evidence for a warrant. Lazy bastards.
Damn. That sucks. It seems like unless someone was killed during a break in, nothing will be done. My friend's house was broken into just before Christmas of 2012. In addition to electronics, they stole her late mother's wedding rings and her great grandmother's wedding rings. Insurance covered the electronics because she had proof of purchasing them but the rings were never recovered and not covered by insurance.
