No. Those 2 teachers have the hallmarks of insecure control freaks. |

Re: Wisconsin Girl Suspended from B-Ball Game for Saying "I Love You" in Native Language
First off they are Native Americans who precede any other culture here. To have spanish on the answering machine and ignore a native language is just asinine and made especially so as most of the students are Native Americans. Those are some really hateful control freaks.

Re: Wisconsin Girl Suspended from B-Ball Game for Saying "I Love You" in Native Language
I can't stand people that think this way. I used to work as a Cashier with a lot of Filipino people, who naturally would talk in their native language a lot. They could speak more quickly and comfortably that way. This lady came to my till one day, and started loudly complaining that my co-worker across from me was speaking in another language (with a fellow Filipino person). She kept loudly exclaiming that it's "rude" and "disgusting" when people talk in their native language, and how "They live in Canada now, they should speak English". tl;dr: I really don't understand why people are so threatened by not being able to eavesdrop. |
