Walz Abandons Minnesota Gov Reelection Bid

FOX NEWS -- Gov. Tim Walz of Minnesota announced on Monday that he's dropping his bid for a third term as governor amid stinging criticism of the unsuccessful 2024 Democratic vice presidential nominee's handling of his state's massive welfare assistance fraud scandal.

"But as I reflected on this moment with my family and my team over the holidays, I came to the conclusion that I can’t give a political campaign my all," the governor added. "Every minute I spend defending my own political interests would be a minute I can’t spend defending the people of Minnesota against the criminals who prey on our generosity and the cynics who prey on our differences."

"So I’ve decided to step out of the race and let others worry about the election while I focus on the work," the governor announced.

Walz launched his bid for a third four-year term as Minnesota governor in September, but in recent weeks has been facing a barrage of incoming political fire from President Donald Trump and Republicans, and some Democrats, over the large-scale theft in a state that has long prided itself on good governance.

Is there a possibility that Walz might end up doing the cell block Tango?

Leftism has no place in America. You can't say you support freedom but vote for these people to limit and restrict the things you can own/purchase. Frankly, I don't think the republican party is much better either. I think the bar is just so low in comparison, that people think they're so much better. True freedom is anarchism and libertarian-ism. Anyway, I hope he does get charged. These people think they're almighty and it needs to be shown that they are also held accountable. Sick of these lying empty-suit of so-called, "men."

Politicians are above the law.. it really takes a lot of blatant law breaking for them to even get indicted… maybe he could be the new Bud Dwyer ~

Re: Walz Abandons Minnesota Gov Reelection Bid

What is needed is term limits across the board for any elected official. Establish that and all these crooks will be weeded out no matter if they are charged or not. Both parties are not worth a damn. I can't think of a one that I would trust watching my kids for a day. Not one. Being elected should be an honor that you constantly try to pay back to those who elected you. Not the opportunity to get rich while you fuck over whoever you have to to maintain your position.

I’m disappointed. A true socialist simply does not abandon.
