Yup. There is probably just as much corruption in the FDA as any other group that has anything to do with the government. Keeping medications expensive so poor sick people can't access it. Like Kanda said, providing meds to kids that they probably shouldn't be taking. The process to get drugs approved and how some meds can sail through and others get bogged down with paperwork.
