Re: Walmart Recalls Donkey Meat After Traces of Fox Found
i would try it to be fair though, i would likely try nearly any animal's flesh once (including human if there wasnt such a risk for the incurable degenerative neurological disorder 'Kuru').... honestly (and people will likely hate me for this to a degree |

Same here. I've got a lot of 'food prude' friends, and their flat-out refusal to even try something new always drives me crazy. It's like dealing with a toddler refusing to eat their vegetables. |

Re: Walmart Recalls Donkey Meat After Traces of Fox Found
my kids refuse to try the anything new... especially my son. it fuckin kills me. he will go 'what are you making? it smells good!' then when i tell him what it is, it's always 'IM NOT EATING THAT!! I DONT LIKE IT!!!' my wife wasnt much better when we first got married....many times, she would let herself get sick instead of eating because she didnt like the food available. that all sucks really bad for me since one of my absolute favorite things to do is try new food. rant over. sorry. |

I feel for you. I'm cultured and my husband grew up on TV dinners and frozen chicken for the most part. Making braised pork hocks in the slow cooker is my one weakness and after begging him to try it he was shocked at how good it is. Menudo is amazing, love to eat the tripe in tortilla.
