...and to think...I will be living there(ENGLAND) within the next three eyars ....at most!!! I really need to sit down with my husband and RETHINK his retirement plans. we have small children that are going to be spending many of their formative years there. I would appreciate any of you english citizens serious advice and observations about the situation. englamaland???? |

It's not as bad as people make out really Pink its mostly sensationalism on the part of the media, tabloids like "The Sun" and "The Star" love to exaggerate things, thing is people believe what these unaccurate tabloids write.

Just don't think of London Pink, most of the coastal area of the UK are nice, in particular Cornwall and Dorset....we have a wonderful health care system here...you'll be impressed.

thanks for easing my mind! as for our intital move, we will be in the York area....because that is where his property and hsi family members are located. I have been researching the coastal areas, and living along the coast ANYWHERE sounds absolutely DIVINE!!!! (I don't know how I would handle the Northern coasts, but the socioeconomical environment sounds quite fine!!! I have spent some time in london, but only as a guest of a few others, and as a tourist. I have to admit, some of the "tourist traps' are still fascinating from my point of view. with england, there is a lot of history, and the people who live there are able to actually see feel and imagine what happened so long ago. Culture shock or not, I think I am going to love england.  |

The man is a moronic douche, but he is exercising his freedom of speech and expression. Muslim extremists are allowed to spew their filth and anti-U.S. and anti-U.K. rhetoric with no consequence, yet when a white man does it he is considered to be "terroristic". Stop catering to Islam. Why is it when people speak their mind about Islam they are listed as racist? Islam is a religion, not a fucking race. So allowing them specific "freedoms" to bash others and expand their ideals upon society is supporting a religion, not a race. |
