Ultralight Crash - Koo Wee Rup Australia - Pilot Dead
On Saturday 3 April 2021 06:50 hours, a 52-year-old experienced pilot crashed his microlight trike aircraft upon takeoff at Koo Wee Rup airfield, Australia. The pilot died and the crash is under investigation. Initial speculation is a helmet striking the prop may have caused the crash.
