Hell, even I'LL concede that there's a very good chance that this is a political maneuver, but you know what: Umptray handed this move to his opponents on a silver plate. If he is found not guilty, it will definitely strengthen the conviction of his base.

If he is found guilty, then he will have to face the stupid consequences of his stupid actions.

Constitution; freedom; liberty. None of these terms you're tossing around have anything to do with what he's being accused of.
