I think it's horrible that the media is turning this kid into a gangster over smoking weed, taking a photo of a gun and getting in a few fights. Sounds like your typical 17 year old teenage boy to me  This guy was in the wrong. CCW or not, he ignored directions and made a move at the kid. A little 145 pound teen against a grown man with a gun. Furthermore, why didn't he just shoot him in the leg or something? Why a kill shot on an unarmed, skinny teenager? I think his story is suspicious, and I think he should go to jail |

What do you guys think about the screams in the 911 call? FBI won't touch it, says it is inconclusive, prosecution says its Trayvon begging or his life, Zimmerman says it's HIM screaming. ? |

I think that it's sad that the focus is on race and/or second amendment rights...the focus should be on the fact that a grown man shot and killed a teenage boy.  |

Bad shoot. Zimmerman was the agressor, even after being told to stand down by LEOs. I am a huge CCW guy but he had multiple chamces to not escalate.

Wow very intense thread, when I first read about this case I thought he was flat out executed. Now with some new info i'm not sure, but none of us has all the facts on this case ,we only get what the media lets us dwell on, would really be interesting to sit on the jury.

This wouldn't even be in the news if it was another example of black on black crime, but because Zimmerman is a " half white" Mexican poor little trayvon was executed just for being black. White on black= automatic hate crime.
