probably some idiotic journalist playing the part of the monday morning quarterback. watching the video clearly shows that once the perp fired the security guy was pretty darn quick to drop him. furthermore, he is responsible for every bullet that leaves the barrel of his gun so he cant just go blasting and hope that he hits him. he had to take careful aim and make sure he had a clear line of fire. even still, he shot once and did so quickly and nailed the guy....hell of a shot. AND the guy was moving making it even more impressive given the situation and adrenaline he probably had pumping |

Gee, if only a cop would have been there to use a taser on the unfortunate shooter, he probably could have been saved. A missed opportunity, to be sure.

As evidenced by a lot of the videos on this site, guns are used more for suicide than homicide in the US. An anecdotal case of a gun being used by a non law enforcement officer to prevent further loss of life might convince some people(I mean, Trump is president), but if you want safety then you want to get rid of peoples desire to pick up a gun for any reason. Accidental gun incidents are also quite common(again, see videos of gun ranges right here). It's funny how that's all ignored when a rare incident like this comes to light. Imagine if everyone were a trained deadly knife thrower? |
