His actions were aimed at the legitimatising “using plenty of raw force” by mr president Trump and his chief of security Elon Musk. Cheap price paid for what they achieved.
On a different scale,
without 9/11- majority of society and international allies would never agreed on all US government decisions and policies regarding “war with terrorism”.
This worked out well that time.
Now, instead of one massive operation it is way better to deploy 10-15 smaller ones. Because of social media accessibility this approach will be much more effective and devastating.
