A teenager was left fatally wounded at the door of General Hospital Friday evening. Metro police (MNPD) are requesting information on the murder.

According to MNPD, 18-year-old “SS” was left shot at General Hospital around 5:40 p.m.

A man who was driving a white Hyundai Tucson was seen on surveillance footage carrying “SS” from his car to the hospital door. Afterwards, he drove away.

Detectives say they've determined “SS” was shot inside the Tucson at the Cumberland View public housing area.

This investigation is ongoing.

Update 10/7/19:
Metro police charged a 15-year-old with murder after a man was left at the door of General Hospital with gunshot wounds.

On Friday, 18-year-old “S.S.” was left at the door of the hospital around 5:40 p.m. after he was shot inside the Tucson at the Cumberland View public housing area. He died from his injuries.

“Z.L.” was charged with murder on Thursday.

Police said a second, unidentified person was also involved.
