The neighbor's opinion is not relevant in the least, and it's already in the press because this is America. Cases that cause a buzz like this one are always reported from the early beginning. It's a cultural tradition to always try a defendant in the court of public opinion before the trial as vociferously as possible. Again I say: This is America. |

No one is accusing this man of actually molesting a child, just that he was in possession of child pornography material. In the U. S. it is illegal to do this, plain and simple. The LAW does not distinguish between one or a million photographs of sexually explicit material: if you have it, you are committing an illegal act. Get it now? A lot of you people from other countries don’t understand U. S. law, but you ramble on as if you do. Whatever the laws are in your country regarding this matter, that applies there, not here. You cross these borders with that attitude about fondling some 12 year old, and you're either caught with photographs of this, or caught actually doing it, there’ll be some BIG inmates in the jail where you're going, waiting to fondle you in the same way. The fact that this is in the press is perfectly legal and dandy. If you take your time and read the article, it states the man was ARRESTED. It never made the claim he was CONVICTED. Do you know the difference between someone being arrested for a crime and someone being convicted? I don’t think so. |
