He said that he'd be happy to never compete again, which is sad but perfectly understandable, anybody would have thought that he was gone forever as the shark pulled him under water.

That is crazy. He really kept his wits about him.

I guess being jacked up to compete makes that adrenaline rush come even faster.

I guess that was just the shock of the incident, when he arrived back home this morning he revealed that he's having a couple of weeks off then heading back into competition - back into the water.
You'd assume now that he'd be safe, statistically could that happen again? He'd be one unlucky bugger if it did.
