Re: Suicide While Handcuffed??
Many people can either get out of cuffs or slip their hands beneath them to bring their cuffed hands up front... I also recall that one video of the police questioning a murder suspect in the station and he pulled a hidden gun and blew his brains out - so possible the police over looked it - found the weed and thought that was it. idk |

Re: Suicide While Handcuffed??
okay this is what I got. 1) He was frisked not once, but twice, yet no gun was found on him during either. 2)they found him slumped over, but heard no gunshot. (cause we all know squad cars are sound proof) 3) he was handcuffed from behind, yet shot himself in the temple. 4) He was left handed, but shot himself in the right temple with his right hand. (to make it feel like it's a stranger doing it, possibly?) 5) He wasn't suicidal, but committed suicide anyway (what, for shits and giggles?) with this information the only conclusion I can come up with is this: He was an inspiring magician who's career was going down the toilet. The cop's story is bullshit, plain and simple. |

Re: Suicide While Handcuffed??
Ah yes, I remember the video in which you are talking about. however, there is a significant difference between the two. In the video you are referring to, the arresting officer didn't bother to frisk the suspect, because he figured the suspect would just be frisked at the station. upon reaching the station the suspect was left in the care of other officers who assumed he was already frisked by the arresting officer, so no frisk was ever made. Thereby inadvertently allowing the suspect to bring a gun into the interview room and committing suicide. In this case, the arrested party was frisked not once, but twice. As for the possibility of him slipping off the handcuffs, or sliding his arms to his front, there is no argument that can be made to disclaim that, considering it was no mention of him doing either in the article. |

Re: Suicide While Handcuffed??
There was also a case of a guy in the, "HBO Autopsy Series", who killed his neighbor. He was in the process of dismembering her when police arrived. I think they missed a court date. He dug a tunnel to her house brick by brick. He was placed in a police van handcuffed behind him and in the short time it took to get to the police station, he had gotten his belt off and hung himself from the window. I'll see if I can find the video. I don't recall his name. He had long red hair and the woman he killed was a brunette. A policeman figured out how it was possible. I think he had 5-7 minutes alone. Found him! Meet Roy Kirk! Damn! I loved that show! I'll post some of my other favorites for your viewing pleasure. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/CyJkZdYJ8Jk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> |

Re: Suicide While Handcuffed??
I saw a witness on the news today who said she heard a shot while the handcuffed guy was in the police car alone. I have to reread this. Did they find the gun afterwards? Check out my post two above this and see how it can be done by an average built guy, as opposed to a very thin one, on videotape. It's Roy Kirk's case. Cyril Wecht explains it and a policeman reenacts it. |

Re: Suicide While Handcuffed??
lol... either way once you are in custody, your safety is the cops responsibility so they should get a competent lawyer and milk them for all they got |
