YORK A man set a trailer on fire and decapitated himself after a domestic dispute in York County on Tuesday morning.

The man's name has not been released to the media, but Sheriff Danny Diggs said the man was 46 years old and "most recently had been living in Chicago."

Shortly after 10 a.m., deputies went to the 100 block of Nathan Place to respond to reports of a domestic dispute. A man involved in the dispute had left the scene before the deputies arrived.

About 15 minutes later, a utility trailer was reported on fire at the intersection of Holmes Boulevard and Wolftrap Road, near the entrance to the subdivision.

Deputies and firefighters approached the burning trailer and saw that it was being towed by a white Ford Explorer driven by the man who had left the scene of the domestic dispute.

The man refused to get out of the vehicle, and firefighters noted that he had a cable wrapped around his neck with the other end attached to a nearby tree.

The man then accelerated the vehicle, pulling him from the driver's seat and decapitating him.

The vehicle came to a rest about 150 yards away on Holmes Boulevard.

The incident remains under investiagtion.

There is a picture somewhere of someone who did just that! Well, the picture is of his truck and the wire....can't for the life of me remember where I saw the bloody thing though. So, this guy wasn't THAT original, someone pipped him to the post.

I used to think about hanging myself with razorwire off of one of those giant cranes.

I suspect it'd have much the same effect, except your body would then crush someone below you to death.
