Re: Stupid Sunscreen Ban in Washington State!!
I've gone for a spray tan a couple of times in the past few years and I've chosen to wear a bikini both times. I think 'tan lines' are sexy, old school sexy, they frame the important bits. ;) |

Re: Stupid Sunscreen Ban in Washington State!!
I guess you didn't read any of my links. That's ok. I'm not trying to argue or name call. I'm trying to let people know that sunlight (in moderation) is important for your health. Again, keyword being moderation. I'm going to leave though, because being called stupid for trying to present another side to the story is asinine.

Re: Stupid Sunscreen Ban in Washington State!!
Ok, just making sure. I don't like to attempt a serious discussion with someone if all they can add is name calling, yafeelme? I feel that showing two sides to an argument is the best way for people to determine their opinion on the matter. But like I said in my first comment if a person is fair skinned or a child then yeah throw some sunscreen on them, along with protective clothing if they're going to be exposed to sun for long periods. I'm not saying that no one should wear sunscreen or that it's stupid. I just wanted to show some other research on the matter. |

Ifeelya. I'm sorry. I don't know what set me off against what you were trying to share. I think I'm tired and I need to shut off my brain for the night. Again, I'm sorry. You're points are most likely valid and I shouldn't have snapped back. |

Re: Stupid Sunscreen Ban in Washington State!!
it's all my fault. when i was in junior high school we use to huff gold paint in the girls bathroom during lunch.. i brought the paint on mondays. kathy brought it on tuesdays, rena brought it on wednesays, and two other people brought it in on thursdays and fridays. i forgot their names. one wednesday rena was out sick and the rest of us were in the bathroom jonesing. kathy said she had some sunblock and why not. so we all huffed the sun block and got totally wasted. being that we looked and acted different than normal ("they look pale, they usually have a golden glow" Mrs. Rivers- geography. "they look fucked up in a sunshiny way" Mrs. Cook-homec. "look what i found! sunscreen! whoda thought you could get high huffing that?" Bill Boss-school principal. "you didn't know that? i huff it all the time" Mr. Angle-algebra.) that was the day Kathy, the other two girls, Mr. Angle and i were kicked out of school. Rena who was out sick died. in the meantime, Bill Boss went to congress and demanded that our country's children not be allowed to have sunscreen at school. and so it was except for in california where it was ruled unconstitutional because it would not be fair when the mexican students could bring sun screen because all they needed to say was "no comprende."

Re: Stupid Sunscreen Ban in Washington State!!
In Philadelphia, my great niece, who has asthma has to go to the nurse to use her inhaler, which I find assinine! She will be 8 next month and has had it since she was a baby! She knows how to use it! So, the child needs to waste time, if she is having a coughing spell, to tell the teacher she needs her inhaler! Makes sense to me! Children can die from asthma attacks!! I have it, too, and it's not like you get high or anything from a friggin' inhaler! |
