Re: Strange Excuse For Not Paying Bedroom Tax
Not really when the prime minister is a multi millionaire thanks to his father, his father who registered all his businesses in tax havens and never paid a penny in tax. Also after the bailouts the person they employed to advice on the cuts (you know stuff like shutting down the 4 nearest a&e's to me) was Phillip green (Arcadia/topshop) who is worth £5b (or $8bn) who you guessed it, handed over all his businesses to his wife who lives in a tax haven so pays no tax. £12.5b in disability benifit and £5b in tax credit went unclaimed in 2009 alone. It's clear who the real exploiters are and it's not the immigrants, unemployed, poor or disabled. |

Re: Strange Excuse For Not Paying Bedroom Tax
This post has nothing to do with ghosts, but... We look back on people from the middle ages as serfs, peasants, and common folk who were ruled by Lords, Kings, etc. Makes you wonder how historians will look back on our times a few hundred years from now, how they'll define our existence in a society that is controlled by corporations. |
