Re: St. Louis Riots After Cop Kills Unarmed Teen
walking in the middle of the road? wtf thats just asking for trouble. and then the riots and looting thats just being fucking stupid. people who riot and loot are just looking to cause trouble! Now i can see protesting what happen and standing up for your rights. but when you start to riot and loot you just throw away every thing your working for. but this is just my two cents. |

Re: St. Louis Riots After Cop Kills Unarmed Teen
While I do agree in principle and I'm angry for the shop owners, civil protests rarely get officials to sit up and take notice or effect any real change. After the Rodney King verdicts thinks were far worse on parts of LA and King was wasn't even killed...These killings have to stop. That said, it's obvious that a certain element needs little to no excuse to be lawless...for them, it's enough excuse that sun went down... |

Or how about a cop just doesn't shoot an unarmed suspect? Not once, not twice, but multiple times...

The latest Ferguson Police Department Will Not Release Name Of Officer Involved In Michael Brown Shooting The Ferguson police department will not release the name of the officer involved in the fatal shooting of 18-year-old Michael Brown, an incident that has grabbed the nation's attention and sparked outrage in the local community. Police said Brown, who was unarmed, was shot multiple times Saturday after being confronted by a white officer in Ferguson, a town that is nearly 70 percent black. The FBI opened an investigation into Brown's death on Monday. Authorities have offered vague details about the confrontation but said the officer involved has been placed on administrative leave. Local residents have taken to the Ferguson streets in demonstrations that have been both violent and peaceful. Demonstrators continued to clash with the local authorities well into Monday evening. |

The investigation has been turned over to the FBI. I hope this doesn't get swept under the rug. Too many people of all races are getting killed by cops. |

Re: St. Louis Riots After Cop Kills Unarmed Teen
I'm not sure which is more offensive, the death of this young man or the fact that his story is getting publicity at this particularly convenient moment in time. Are the circumstances of his death all that unique or uncommon? Definitely not. But elections are coming up. His death, just like Trayvon Martin's, are being exploited to get the ****** "midwest" to vote a certain way. Why don't we give a shit/notice all the other times this sort of shit happens?
