Re: Sri Lanka to Deport Buddha Tattoo British Woman
You remember the woman who was jailed for the name of a teddy bear or the plenty of other cases? Deported is lucky, I'd be happy with that over time in a third world jail. |

Re: Sri Lanka to Deport Buddha Tattoo British Woman
I have a friend who is from Sri Lanka. She has tattoos, but got them all done over in the UK. When she travels back to see family, they are all covered up. Although an uncovered tattoo of the Buddha may very well elicit more negative response, it really doesn't matter what the image is of. It is percieved as a desecration of the flesh, regardless. |

Re: Sri Lanka to Deport Buddha Tattoo British Woman
But SOME muslims can come to our westernised countries and preach Islam, and threaten to behead those who 'insult' Islam. They walk around covered completely in niqabs, burka's and hijabs and then THEY get offended when we don't like it. I wish our country was as tough as they are in Sri Lanka. |
