Re: Some Miltary Installations in America on High Alert
I can see you know a lot . How can they make sure service members are are not wearing uniforms off base? Hmmm. How about when they arrive and leave base the go through security And yes my girlfriend works for the Airforce. And yes my girlfriend is in the Air Force. You know so much you assumed drones are flown and the images they collect are analyzed over seas. When a drone can be flying over Syria with the pilot sitting at the controls in Texas or Kansas. |

Only base i know is McConnell. They didn't give her much information. She just analyzes video from drones, she doesn't have any special clearance. But what they did say is isis knows their shit. They know what military units are bombing them. And those are the target bases. The only specific example they gave was they were worried about sympathisers going to these cities near those bases. Identify easy targets wearing military uniforms and follow them home. And chop their head off.

Re: Some Miltary Installations in America on High Alert
I did a quick search and found articles from the US, Australia, and GB on soldiers advised not to wear their uniforms off base. Personally i think that soldiers should wear them and be allowed to carry their weapons as well. I have no fear of our soldiers, armed or not. They are citizens like you and me, and they are doing a dangerous job. They deserve our respect and support.

Re: Some Miltary Installations in America on High Alert
So wouldn't it be kind of a waste of effort to forbid the wearing of your country's uniform? Seeing as how anyone allowed on base would have a DOD sticker on their private vehicle...that they park at their home, etc. What kind of percentage of a terrorist attack are we talking about? A fraction of a fraction of less than one percent? You'd run a higher percentage of having a shark attack at the enlisted personnel club's pool. I knew there was a rumor of possible attack/incident, but this whole thing sounds dumb...not that the US military can't do incredibly dumb things...I'm just not sure this is one of them.
