 oh, ffs... shooters in the UK find it rude when you dont use a silencer. they are like mufflers on cars... they allow you to shoot ad hunt without pissing your neighbors off. they are also best for home defense... think about it like this, you have an intruder in your home so you grab your handgun and fire it... indoors, the sound is deafening. if there are others sleeping in your home when you shoot, they are likely to be scared shitless when you fire. that's not what i want my family to go through after an already tense situation. there are plenty of rational and legitimate reasons to using sound suppressors. if you're scared of suppressors, you'd hate it up here.. there is a class three weapons dealer in town where you can rent times and shoot full auto weapons, if you dont have the money to buy them.  stop getting your gun info from the movies and tv |

not at all. you can buy them in the UK too... in fact, in most of the hunting vids i see from the UK the hunters are using sound suppressors. |
