I dig him, he's one of the coolest dictators ever. But the goverment has way more resources then for example Tunesia or Egypt due to large oil reserves and thus has a more powerful and dedicated army. People are also more affraid of the army. Though 2 jetfighter pilots flew their planes to Malta and asked for asylum

Gaddafi orders soldiers burned for allegedly refusing to shoot protesters. The troops who refused to shoot the civilians were locked in the barracks, which were then set alight. Burning the men alive.
