Mother Kills Son With Claw Hammer
HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!!!! ONTARIO (KTLA) -- The bodies of an Ontario woman and her son were found in their home just days before they were supposed to be evicted, authorities said. Officers responded to a home in the 900 block of East Rosewood Court around 8 p.m. after receiving a tip about a possible dead body. Two bodies, along with a hammer and knife, were found inside the residence. San Bernardino Coroner's have identified the bodies as Libia Lopez, 41, and her son, Eddie Lopez, 10. Lopez's landlord reported that she heard screams coming from the back house that Lopez rented, but didn't call police. When the landlord went to check on Lopez nearly 12 hours later, she found the two dead. Police believe Lopez killed her son with a hammer and then tried to overdose on pills before using a knife to cut her throat. The motive is still under investigation. Neighbors say that she had just lost her job and, unable to pay her rent, was soon to be evicted. |
