I'm sorry, but who keeps sea salt in the kitchen? They probably meant table salt, which is not the same. I'm surprised the fish lived. As far as I know, only those who keep fish keep non-table salt in their houses, and only those who keep marine fish keep actual sea salt.

Sea salt is used for gourmet cooking. Golf Courses usually have pretty good food. |

Sea salt is marine salt. While I don't have any aquariums currently up and running, I have had many in the past and there is a difference.
