Simple: Russians are fucking nuts. But yeah, all the tourist stories I've heard from India paint it as a very filthy, smelly, backwards place. I'm not saying that there's anything inherently wrong with that, but you sure as fuck won't find me in a country in which the locals do not utilize toilet paper. |

Depends on the country. If some guy came to Philadelphia and rang the Liberty Bell, the worst he'd have to contend with is arrest. And if for some reason he did wind up getting jumped by an angry mob, at least it wouldn't be a legal beating.
