Remains of Missing Russian Man Found
In May 2017 in Shatura (Russia), 30 year old Ivan Klyucharev went missing whilst hiking. Nearly 2 years later in April 2019, his remains were found, though it's believed that he died a year ago. His body was found chained to a tree (some reports state that it was just his left hand). A video camera was nearby (pointing at him) as were handcuffs, chains, padlocks + a book about knots. Ivan was a member of a community that practised survival skills in extreme conditions Police are now checking any footage from his camera + have come up with several theories of his death. It's thought that Ivan had tried to recreate an escape trick but failed. Another possibility is that Ivan was into 'bizarre sexual practices including BDSM' + he died whilst filming himself doing said practices. + then there's also the possibility that he was murdered.

Re: Remains of Missing Russian Man Found
Guy could have tried a "Houdini" trick and it didn't work. But he should have let someone know where he was. 1 day chained to a tree is inconvenient. 2 years chained to a tree is fatal. I don't think it was murder, because of the large number of padlocks, chains, and tools present. If you are going to kill someone, you don't take the entire contents of your garage along, clanking through the forest. Either a fetish, or he was an amateur magician. |
