Registered Sex Offender Plunges to His Death After Three Murders

Sex offender wanted over murders in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, plunges to his death A registered sex offender suspected of killing his mother, stepfather and girlfriend climbed a Mississippi cellphone tower before plunging about 300 feet to his death, according to a report. The Sun Herald said that Anthony Garrett, 41, was convicted of sexual battery in 1985 and 1988. The triple homicide occurred Saturday in Bay St. Louis, which is along the Gulf Coast. Garrett died Saturday night as authorities tried to talk him down from the tower in nearby Waveland. The Sun Herald said police weren't sure whether Garrett jumped or fell. One witness told the Sun Herald that the man who climbed the tower had yelled: "I killed my family." Authorities identified the murder victims as Garrett's stepfather, Wilton Bernard Jr., his mother, Jeanie Bernard and girlfriend, Kathleen Deese, The Associated Press reported. No motive has disclosed in the killings. |

I would say I wish this on every sex offender, but I had a buddy take a piss on the side of a highway (at midnight), got caught and had to register. So, I hope this happens to most sex offenders |

Thank you, as always, cumulonimbus! He looks like a creepy kind of thing. He doesn't have the Ted Bundy beady eyes, but, he's got a slight pinhead going on. Sometimes, there are brain issues, although not as severe as the ones in Tod Browning's, "Freaks". They had, and I'm not saying this to be mean, but, close to what The Coneheads had on SNL. The smaller the top of the head, the smaller and more serious damage to the brain. They were retarded and acted like children, although adults. |

Why do guys do that? Unfortunately, this kind of situation should not be in the same category as a pedophile or rapist. Carry one of those big soda cups for emergencies or a bucket. I am sorry your friend got put into that category with the real offenders. |

I think there needs to be separate lists. A Megan's List for child sex offenders and another list for violent sexual predators. As a father I always checks Megan's list and read the offenses. |
