I 100% agree with assisted suicide. This girl didn't want to live a life of pain, at the same time, she had to go through so many hoops to attain what she wanted. That's a good thing. If she had not been granted this, her life could have been a lot worse, or it could have gotten better. She will never know, but at least she got the option to do this instead of killing herself.

I am a mental health professional an your perception is quite distorted. Sounds like you had a bad experience with a therapist. Don't diss all of us. Some of us save lives and help people actually get better & heal. Clearly this young adult was overcome by fear and distress. Sad.
