I think Jeff used to pick up road kill and study the insides and put the heads on sticks. I can't recall if he killed any live animals. I know he had a puppy he never hurt.

Richard Chase killed small animals, but, he thought he was a vampire whose blood was turning to dust. Both guys had crazy, domineering mothers, as did most serial killers.
