We get a ton of American media up here..... Sometimes it is interesting to see how reporting on the same story or issue is different. We get all the local affiliates of the major American networks, pbs, cnn, fox, you name it we have it. There's even a government agency up here ( the CRTC ) that polices the media to ensure a minimal amount of the content is Canadian. I guess the fear is that eventually American music and Television would eventually overrun our country  If your TV and music wasn't far superior it wouldn't be an issue. |
