It's the people who were tormenting the family which should be criminalised, that's awful. But not the public for looking at the pictures, I didn't find them funny or anything, they were some of the first ones I saw on here.

Half the time when people sue over an argument, they never request damage amount, they just sue to get done what they want done. The jurors are the ones who delegate how much they think they should get in the settlement. And what's up with people saying she deserved to die? I understand we come on here for our doses of gore...but someone being reckless does not deserve to die. Also what's up with the trolling of the father owning a Porsche? How is he at fault because he had a nice car? The whole bases of the law suite was because of the leaked pictures that were being used to harass the family in the very same fashion most of you are acting. (Ex. Apparently, the parents knew someone who trolled such sites!

I have mixed feelings. It kind of sends a message that due to a girl's bad decision, her family gets a huge settlement because people saw pictures resulting from that decision.
