Re: Police Officer Shoots 'aggressive' Tortoise Dead
I have a California desert tortoise and they're about as threatening as a rock. Even when my tortoise is running as fast as she can you can just stroll away leisurely without fear of attack...it's like they're predators waiting for you to turn your back so they can attack. They're really quite harmless and friendly little creatures...and they live literally forever. Maybe the one's they have in Africa are like their honey bees and attack in swarms and kill folks.

Musta been terrifying for that officer, coming face-to-face with that cold reptilian death barrelling down on him at 0.000002203020 miles per hour. |
