I does seem way over the top for cops to have behaved that way, but it's kind of catch 22 for them, if he had acted out his feelings for real then the public would have crucified the police department for not preventing it from happening, so they are kind of fucked either way.

i used to draw pics of war senarios...i would use clored pencils to capture the gore. never in my mind (then) did i ever think i would get into trouble for drawing what i wanted to draw. i hope you kept the pic he drew you. my sister still has a bunch of mine, and i love her for that.

I have watched our educational system become a ridiculous parody of what education was during the 60's. Allowing reference materials during tests, including calculators for math examinations. Cramming the answers to the class before a competency exam for the state. Passing students incapable of performing grade level work. Graduating students on attendance rather than achievement. It's absolutely disgusting and shameful.

Considering this happened in arvada, colorado (my home state) i'm not suprised about the school calling cops and it going overboard.

Jefferson County and the schools that way have always been a little more than fucked up.

Still its ridiculous i recall drawing worse stuff than that in elementary school and it was called having a "vivid imagination" or creativity. any more schools have just gone down hill.
