they have to be intelligent to use a spring for a penis. Pig genitalia are quite interesting.

You know what? I was thinking of that movie while creating the thread. I'm on the same page now. I was cutting up some pork earlier last night for dinner, and call I could think about was this thread

I've noticed a lot of people who raise livestock, call the animals stupid. It's only because they're in a non-natural, unenriched environment. That has an effect on the animal.

Dogs seem stupid, when not properly trained or shown how to act.

Even my meat rabbits have strong, individual personalities. That doesn't stop me from eating their babies. I just make sure they're able to live stress free, with full bellies, until I dispatch them. Quick and as painless as possible.

I do feel sadness when it's time to harvest. I do fully realize and acknowledge that I'm ending lives. I can see how some people are unable to do it.

I don't know if I could raise pigs for slaughter. I feel like they are too similar to dogs, personality wise, from my experience. I'm on the fence about it.

Even if I did, there's no way I'd send it off to a processing company to be killed and butchered. I'd make sure I was there to oversee the killing, to prevent fear and suffering.
Very true, if you raised humans for slaughter in a similar fashion without education they would turn out like mindless idiots.
