There is an original "Apple 1" computer, the first- generation machine sold by Apple when they first opened for business, for sale on Ebay. Apple just sold the computer board at that time, and you selected and attached your own parts to make an operable computer. But this is the "BRAIN" part of the computer.

This computer is from the first batch, claimed to be fully operable, and has the original complete system set-up with it.
All components with this computer date from the first batch, except 4 data selector chips, which were replaced with 1977 dated components
It is signed by Steve Wozniak, one of the founders of Apple Computer.

It started bidding on Sunday morning, June 5th, and at 8 pm on that Sunday, it had 73 bids, with a total price of $100,300, with 6 days left in the bidding.

I will report back next week on what happened with this item. I don't normally take any notice of things selling on Ebay, but this is a fairly historical item, and it still functions.

Anyone for a vigorous game of "PONG"?
