Re: Official 2014 FIFA World Cup Thread
Well it looks like Brazil are without Neymar now for the rest of the World Cup, That's Brazil done for me...the Germans will be too much for them to cope with in my opinion. Brazils only hope of scoring goals now are from Either Hulk, or Set Pieces. It will surprise me if Brazil can go any further than this Also...That was a close match between France and Germany too, it's a shame Germany scored so early on as neither team really got into the match at that point, then all of a sudden a goal was scored from a set piece, then after that, that gave Germany control of the match. I believe Germany are the strongest team left now...but it's going to be interesting. Cmon Belgium |

Re: Official 2014 FIFA World Cup Thread
Good luck to neymar, big loss not only for Brazil but for the whole tournament But Brazil is improving match by match, and in my opinion Germany’s defensive vulnerabilities may cost to them the World Cup. Look at the average position of the team during the match Vs. USA: notice the numbers 5 and 17: those were Hummels and Mertesacker, they're supposed to be the German centre-backs: Hummels is slow, Mertesacker is slower than turtle, if they play that far away from their own goal the next match, Brazil may devastate them, even without Neymar. However, Germany is super at pressing and that Müller dude is a deadly weapon. It will be a very interesting match for sure. |

The semi-final stage of the 2014 FIFA World Cup pits the best South America has to offer against Europe's two most exciting international teams.

Re: Official 2014 FIFA World Cup Thread
Brazil have got tonight's match, Germany have played pretty sloppy and it feels like they've barely scraped by whilst Brazil have dominated every match with the exception of vs. Mexico, even still that was an intense well played game. I'm rooting for Brazil this win this time, they deserve to win on home ground, not to mention that absolutely huge fanbase giving them massive support every game. |
