Re: North Korean Rockets on Standby to Hit US Bases

Honestly I think they should send out some CIA assassins to kill the top commanders, civilians in North Korea have to act like they believe all the bullshit they say or they get sent to concentration camps, I've even read that some people were imprisoned for not crying enough at Kim Jong-il's funeral, the fuck?
You need to understand that the people in North korea are deprived of any communication with the outside world. They have no concepts of how the rest of the world is.
There is no radio, internet or TV that isn't state sanctioned..... they are taught in school that Grandfather Kim came from heaven, and they believe it because their Government has censored everything for the last 50 years. There is a whole Generation that has known no other life.

At this point I really want to see them sign their death warrants. They hit that button and we roll in and remove them from the face of the planet.

update

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/0...n_3010855.html
SEOUL, April 4 (Reuters) - North Korea has moved what appears to be a mid-range Musudan missile to its east coast, South Korea's Yonhap news agency said on Thursday, quoting multiple government sources privy to intelligence from U.S. and South Korean authorities.

It was not clear if the missile was mounted with a warhead or whether the North was planning to fire it or was just putting it on display as a show of force, one South Korean government source was quoted as saying.

"South Korean and U.S. intelligence authorities have obtained indications the North has moved an object that appears to be a mid-range missile to the east coast," the source said.

The Musudan missile is believed to have a range of 3,000 km (1,875 miles) or more, which would put all of South Korea and Japan in range and possibly also the U.S. territory of Guam in the Pacific Ocean. North Korea is not believed to have tested these mid-range missiles, according to most independent experts

South Korea's defence ministry declined to comment.

North Korea has threatened a nuclear strike on the United States and missile attacks on its Pacific bases, including in Guam. Those threats followed new U.N. sanctions imposed on the North after it carried out its third nuclear test in February.

The missile was moved to the coast by train. The North has a missile launch site on the northeastern coast, which it has used to unsuccessfully test-fire long-range rockets in the past.

The Yonhap report did not say if the missile had been moved to the missile site.

Japan's Asahi Shimbun newspaper issued a similar report on Thursday, saying the North had moved what appeared to be a long-range missile to its east coast. (Reporting by Jack Kim, Editing by Dean Yates)

North Korea warns 'moment of explosion' nears
North Korea stirred up fresh unease in Northeast Asia early Thursday, threatening attacks by a "smaller, lighter and diversified" nuclear force and warning, "The moment of explosion is approaching fast."

The new threat came after the North Koreans locked South Korean workers out of a joint factory complex and announced plans to restart a nuclear reactor it shut down five years ago. Meanwhile, the United States announced it was sending ballistic missile defenses to Guam, a Pacific territory that's home to U.S. naval and air bases.

"The moment of explosion is approaching fast. No one can say a war will break out in Korea or not and whether it will break out today or tomorrow," North Korea's state news agency KCNA declared in its latest broadside. "The responsibility for this grave situation entirely rests with the U.S. administration and military warmongers keen to encroach upon the DPRK's sovereignty and bring down its dignified social system with brigandish logic."

Re: North Korean Rockets on Standby to Hit US Bases

Bye, bye, North Korea. It was nice laughing at you

In all seriousness, this just sad. The thought of all the civilians in North Korea being so completely kept in the dark is horrifying. I question whether they'd even have the luxury of an official evacuation notice from the government if missiles start flying their way.

Un's not just suicidal, he's genocidal

Re: North Korean Rockets on Standby to Hit US Bases

You seem to ignore a major fact, North Korea is China's proxy force. The Chinese DO NOT want American troops near or on Chinese borders no matter what. China can survive without trade with the U.S. Infact the BRIC's ( Brazil,Russia, India and China)are forming their own bank to replace the petrodollar which is declining.

Russia and China feel the U.S. is encircling them, they don't trust America's intentions and they are planning for the future. America's policys towards Russia and China is becoming more and more hostile. The Russians don't agree with the missle system in europe and whats going on in the middleast and china does not like America's presence in Asia and it's support for tawain which is a mostly chinese populated island. russia, china, north korea, syria and iran are allies.
The threat of freedom and democracy is always a threat to the above mentioned nations and dictatorships.

I do agree that NK is Chinas nr 1 ally, one could almost suspect that China has some hidden agenda here....they do not act to defuse the situation, some weak and feeble calls for restraint. Why does not China teach NK a lesson like the did with Vietnam in 1979?
China would love to see the old enemy, UN and USA destroyed.

Re: North Korean Rockets on Standby to Hit US Bases

One thing of importance is that we not fold to NK's warmongering and threats. History has a well known fact that appeasement only makes the aggressor more aggressive.

Its important to not make hasty judgment, just like Iraq & viet nam taugt us as well.

taking out the Government is always the easy part, occupying and rebuilding is always the hard part.

Re: North Korean Rockets on Standby to Hit US Bases

If this ends up with giving them more aid then they have accomplished what they set out to do.

Start a fight?

Sure it'll end in death but it wont be anywhere near the bad result some people expect.
