I'm on the fence on this one. I'm pro-cannabis, but I'm not really excited about news anchors dropping the f-bomb on live tv during mainstream-hours. Not that I'm not well-versed in its use, but I wouldn't want to impose my lifestyle choice upon those who aren't as comfy with the f-bomb as I.

The station doesn't need to apologize for shit. Let the former-anchor pay the fine from the FCC and move on. She'll hopefully be rolling in cash after her new career choice.

I used to drink very heavy. Whiskey, lots and lots. I had some baaaaaaad hangovers. Wake up thirsty as fuck. Drink lots of water, then minutes later throw it all up, then dry heave for a while. Felt like shit. Smoke a little weed, felt a little better. Nibble on something. Smoke a little more weed, feeling much better. Eat like a beast and I was back on track. That was years ago. I was a complete mess, had a lot going on in my life that really nearly killed me. I had a beer a few days ago and some tequila a few weeks ago but that is all.

Now I smoke a Lil and try to enjoy life, my children and try to not lose hope for the future. Cannabis is good. Very good. Very good for us.

Thanks for that; so sorry to hear what happened to your mother. Personally, I think drink is the true demon. It fucking eats people from the inside out. Ive got a friend, whose husband was a heroin addict; kicked gear, and started drinking instead. He was drinking for around 18 months, cheap nasty cider and plonk; nearly fucking killed him. He had been on gear for almost 30 years and drank for less than two, and fucked his pancreas up and his stomach and liver. If he didnt stop, he would have been dead in a couple of months. Thankfully he did rehab and sorted himself out, and is now sober and clean. Yep, drink is the bad one alright. Sadly, its veneer of social acceptability and huge amounts of dough made from the taxation of it means that its here to stay.

As someone who has a chronic pain problem,I've often wondered if grass could help. Unfortunately,I haven't smoked since I finished university & no longer know anyone to buy it from. As Timothy Leary & all the other asshats of the 60s drug counterculture made getting morphine or other decent pain relief impossible(I used to have pethadine injections for my migraines,& they were fucking awesome until the bloody gov't made its use severely restrictive -the Maxalon injections they use instead do fuck all but cure the nausea.)this could be an alternative. Drink yourself into a stupor or smoke tobacco & the gov't says 'Go ahead'. Want a little toke to ease pain or nausea or chill a little at dinner? Well,you're a dirty criminal who must be punished. Fucking hypocrites. This lady is badass.
