"The bigger the lie, the more it will be believed."
Guess who said that.

"The bigger the lie, the more it will be believed."
Guess who said that.
I'd be careful quoting Goebbels. He mentions media, and their lies as lügenpresse- considering for sake of topic, there has been nearly 2k Holocaust films/documentaries over 10 thousand literary publications, and more than 200 billion spent in memorials, his quotes could be of libeling counter argument. Especially since it's illegal in many places to discuss it. Then this-

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”
It isn't just in the jew's best interest to shield the public's perspective of those events, but also the state's interest.

Not the first offense, also a crime is a crime, one can debate the validity of said crime and the sentence but she broke the law, multiple times for basically the same thing.

She promotes her views on t.v and various other means and has been arrested before for the same bullshit.

Like that retard who went to north korea and stole a sign and got 15 years hard labour.

Crime or not- Secrecy harbors and manifest more levels of critique that may go beyond our moral fabric.

It's more dangerous to attempt keeping one event in history under a level of scrutiny, when it is in fact dwarfed by many others in comparisons.

All it does is feed to idealistic manifestation of whom has control over narratives, education, as well as governing powers.

Think of it as a "pressure valve"....

I don't see your point about freedom of speech.
Her articles were published, her voice was heard on the trial and she was judged accordingly to the german laws. End of story.
It's the same as somebody walking down the street, provoke random guy with some slurs. You can do it but you will get punched in the face.
Freedom of Speech, at least in American terms, applies to everything you've said... past and present, and hopefully, the future. Otherwise, you subject everyone to the whims of the current-popularist-persuasion.

Well I would agree the laws add fuel to the nazi fire, however I think germany made these laws to save itself from the embarrassment of holocaust denial.

Plus the only reason to deny the holocaust one of the most documented events in history (nazis kept great records) is to incite hatred.

Germany wants nothing to do with this well deserved embarrassment on their nation, thats how I take the laws, 0 tolerance policy.

Im assuming that will change eventually as time goes on, I mean you cant even be critical of religion in germany without getting a fine.

Also, many countries have genocide laws that encompass all genocides not just the holocaust.

Just look how dangerous it is when turkey denies their holocaust or genocide against the armenians.

People have been jailed for denying the armenian genocide and various others.

It is historical revisionism at its finest and the fact people defend historical revisionism is disgusting.

Free speech shouldnt allow you to run into a theater screaming fire or go on a plane and say you have a bomb then claim you were just expressing free speech.

Maybe you kids teacher tells them 2+2=5, free speach or fucking bullshit, fucking bullshit.

Maybe your kid is getting bullies verbally and kills themself, free speech right? Celebrate those bullying fucks for using their right.

So I dont see this as a free speech issue at all. We have restriction on shit and certain ways pf doing things in society.

If you want freedom go live in the woods off the grid if not your lying to yourself.
