I know right; 25 fucking years. The ONLY way that could ever be "justified" is for each day of those 25 years, a fucking good beating was to be administered, each and every day. Or even better, solitary confinement for 25 years. That would be indeed a living hell. And by solitary I MEAN solitary; as in, no pictures on the walls, no windows, complete darkness, nothing but a bedframe, a ratty thin blanket and a bucket, and bread and water. For the whole 25 years. No daylight, no sense of time of day or weeks or years or seasons changing, no visual stimuli, so no books or newspapers whatsoever and total silence. No conversations. The only human contact, apart from slopping out and dry bread and water passed through a letterbox opening in the door, would be a daily beating, after being blindfolded, gagged and bound. Apart from that they get absolutely nothing. Nada. Nil.
