I am in two minds about this. I got a beating when I was a kid and it did me no harm. HOWEVER what we are in danger of is this Advocating corporal punishment on a child for what you regard as inappropriate attire. people support it and avocate it on one hand (this case as a example) but when it comes to different cultures deride it as barbaric and archaic. There is no fucking difference! you have no escape, that is what it is = violence upon a child for a slight. None of the women on this site ever dressed a bit risky when they were in their teens no?. my children will get a hug. They will know they can turn to me with any problem. They will be raised to have self respect and dignity. They will have self respect and pride even if the skirt they wear to a party at 16 might be too short for my liking. My children will have good hearts and the reson will not be because they were threaten with a fist in the face. discipline and self respect may be lacking in western cultures youth but the lack of violence against children is not the cause |
