I remember reading about this one dude who was on the FBI's Most Wanted List for decades, and it turned out that the whole time he had been hiding out with either his wife or one of his ex-wives at her house. This guy could be squatting down in a friend's basement with a pile of cash waiting for the media circus to die down before he makes his move.

There’s also the really famous List case from the 70’s. Dude killed his whole family, and moved states away to start a new life. 20 years later they ran his picture on America’s Most Wanted, and a neighbor recognized him. Got nabbed almost two decades after he fled!

They are just being obnoxiously sarcastic. If you ask them a few questions about their position on guns they start digging an escape tunnel to avoid thinking about it.

There is footage of him carrying spare ammunition readily available for easy reloading.

He abandoned his car and took off.

From those two facts we know that he had both time to plan this masssacre AND that he had just enough wits to discern the difference between right and wrong and to plan his escape to avoid facing the consequences of his actions.

The prosecution will shoot down that not guilty by reason of insanity plea before it even builds up enough momentum to take off.
