Re: Mass Shooting at Buford's Backyard Beer Garden in Austin
Authorities have identified the two deceased victims as Ryder Harrington (19) and Savitha Shan (21), both of whom were college students. A third victim remained on life support. Shan was a student enrolled at the University of Texas. Harrington had previously attended Texas Tech University. Ring doorbell footage shows the shooter, 53-year-old Ndiaga Diagne leaving his apartment in Del Valle with a blanket covering what looks like a gun, this was just before he headed towards 6th street. Diagne was a naturalized U.S. citizen originally from Senegal who entered the country in 2000 on a tourist visa. He had a history of mental health issues and a minor criminal record, including a 2022 arrest in Texas for a vehicle collision. |
