Six Killed, Five Injured After Guy Poured Gasoline Over Himself Inside Bus
Switzerland. The bus fire broke out at approximately 6:25 PM yesterday, on a PostBus traveling from Düdingen and caught fire on the main street of Kerzers, 12 miles West of Bern. Police suspect the fire was deliberately started as witnesses reported that a man on the bus poured gasoline on himself and set it alight. As a result six people died so far. Out of the five injured, three are in critical condition. Swiss President Guy Parmelin expressed his condolences, noting this is the second major fire tragedy in Switzerland this year. Police are currently working to identify the man believed to have started the fire. It is not yet officially confirmed if he is among the deceased or the critically injured. |
