Last Sunday a man armed with two large knives and speaking in Arabic was mastered in the street by police officers of the Anti-Crime Brigade of Grenoble.

Alerted by passersby, the police found the man not far from the station. Shirtless, he shouted "Allahu Akbar" and brandished his two knives.

Since Tuesday, a video of his interpellation circulates on social networks and in particular on Twitter. It was notably shared by the police union Synergie-Officers which indicates in its tweet: "We can denounce the # French police but the dangerous dangerous yesterday in Grenoble was controlled with great coolness by our colleagues. "

The young 19-year-old from Grenoble was brought under control after the police used the defense ballistic launcher (LBD).

First hospitalized under police custody, he was finally placed in a psychiatric unit after receiving treatment.

Those officers showed some serious restraint, here in the U.S. he would have definitely been shot with a bullet to incapacitate him.

I have seen worse done by cops for lesser crimes here.

Exactly why America needs change, things can be done a lot cleaner without killing innocents which is what happens all too often over there. That's the disgusting evil and wrong part, pig brutality, excessive force, massive ego's, small peckers, armed to the teeth and people who have committed no crime losing their life to a gang of aggressive maniacs wearing INVENTED government costumes.

Obviously I'm no authority on how to subdue a wannabe terrorist but... I'm surprised that the cops didn't use multiple Tazers on him. Perhaps the range of the Tazer was to close for comfort?

Also when he was going down, why didn't they rush him using batons to finally disarm him?
