Six Cows Shot in the Face and Rump; Angry Neighbor Accused

A Florida man is in trouble after six cows were shot in the face in Flagler County.

Justin Deloach is responsible, according to the state attorney’s office.

Two of the six Bunnell cows were badly injured, according to WESH.com.

Deloach told authorities he fired into the air to scare the animals after the cows broke through a fence and ate his horse feed.

But the bullets hit the cows in the face, rump and ribs and bled all over the field.

Damn! And there was another guy who committed crimes against cows in October! He is on the video, too!

He was probably drinking or high.

How unlucky would he be to fire six shots and hit cows with all of them if they were just warning shots?

“Udderly shocking!” A Florida man is accused of attempted moooooder.
Justin Deloach, 23, allegedly shot six of his neighbor’s cows with a shotgun late last month.

Deloach of Flagler County, Fla. is charged with the second-degree felony of killing or aggravated abuse of horses or cattle.

Two cows suffered moderate to severe injuries to their faces, whereas the others suffered injuries to their ribs, shoulders and rumps, said Klare Ly, public information officer for the 7th Circuit State Attorney's Office.

The cows’ owner, identified only as Adam, found his cows bleeding heavily with holes in their hides on Oct. 26.

“The owner heard gunfire near his house,” Ly told the Daily News. “So he went outside to investigate and noticed that a few of his cows were missing from his property. He went around the yard and noticed the gate was open. That’s when he found some of his cows bleeding.”

A neighbor told Adam that she saw DeLoach attack the cows. She added that the cows grazing on DeLoach’s property were not causing any damage, according to a charging affidavit.

Adam reported the attack to the Sheriff's Office around 6:30 p.m., according to The Daytona Beach News-Journal.

Adam and deputies attempted to talk to Deloach but he was not home. The next day DeLoach submitted a written statement to the Sheriff's Office explaining the incident.

DeLoach claimed the cows broke through his fence and ate his horse feed, so he fired birdshot into the air merely to scare them away.

The attack ironically extended the cows’ lives because their slaughter date has been pushed back while they are treated for their injuries. The animals’ monetary value to their owner dropped significantly, reported NBC affiliate WESH.

It's not cool that they busted his fence and ate his horse feed. If those cows were people breaking into someones place and stealing their shit... then got shot... we'd be like Nice Shooting Tex!
