A few things seem amiss with this article. 1) The photo seemed to be clear enough to identify the culprit, if not by the victim, then certainly the police could circulate it and identify the culprit within no time.. 2) The comments by the police were not what you would expect if they were looking for someone in connection with the crime, somewhat vague, and more like an answer giving to a hypothetical question, which is perfectly legal to print if not a little deceptive. 3) The newspaper in which this article was featured also ran a front cover headline story that Adolf Hitler was living on the moon after flying there in a WW2 Bomber. Photographs of the aeroplane on the moon were published alongside the article. Great story though despite the probability that it is all made up. |
