The attacks started at 18:13 local time in a local Coop supermarket (less than three hours ago at the time of this comment), still no word on how many killed or injured..

Man that's some scary stuff. If it's a gun or a knife attack you can hear the commotion and react but bow & arrow is pretty silent.

They do a lot of damage as well, well placed shot can kill a full grown moose in one hit. Limiting factor would obviously be skill, unlike a gun which anyone could shoot, you'd have to practice archery for quite some time to get to the level required to basically 1 shot a person.

The man has used more weapons than a bow in the attack, the police tell the Norwegian news agency NTB.

It is not known what other weapons have been used.

The man is already known to the police in connection with several different cases.

According to sources to Norwegian TV2 , the killer is a man who is said to have converted to Islam. He is said to have had several contacts with the Norwegian healthcare system.

The motive is still unclear.

A bow and arrow "mass" murder is really really obscure though, it makes sense that it makes headlines when it happens in a country like Norway. Also Sweden is a lost cause because of immigration. SVERIGE STÅR I BRAND.
